Welcome to CLA Web Server

ABOUT UR DIRECTORY

You are allocated 50 megabytes of storage space in your home directory. Resize large files such as images accordingly to avoid exceeding your quota. You are also responsible for maintaining backups of your website, which you can do by copying the contents of the site to removable media such as a USB drive.

All website content and usage must adhere to the university's Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to comply may result in your website being removed from the server.

Once setup, you can access your site using http://student.libarts.colostate.edu/ename where "ename" is your CSU eName

ACCESSING UR DIRECTORY

You will communicate with the server using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), which is a secure, encrypted file transfer method used to move files between your local computer and the server.

You can use an FTP program such as FileZilla or WinSCP for PCs, or Fugu for Macs, to transfer data between your computer and the server. These free programs are already installed in many of the College of Liberal Arts student computing labs.
